Plates

I thought that VA had the highest rate of personalized plates on the east coast....but after living in Raleigh, I think NC may have them beat. Look who just happened to be in front of me at the stoplight today - Mr. Perfect....I didn't even know he lived in Raleigh.
And although I didn't have time to take more pics, I was literally surrounded by personal plates at this light. 1 in front of Mr Perfect, 1 to my left and 1 to my right - it was a little creepy.

But when I was walking the other day I did notice this plate:
I've always wanted to go to BC. I hear it's beautiful. I only got as close as Oregon - maybe one day.

Scary Cat and Friends

Looks like Scary Cat is ready to celebrate Halloween with some batty friends
And notice the bag hanging on the front of the mailbox. That's Stan Morse's way to obtaining votes for a House seat - by littering and making my mediocre mailman even more disinterested with his job.

Did you know that Stan actually endorsed his opponent just a few months ago? So he's a litterbug and a flip-flopper. But still might be better than said opponent (Marilyn Avila) who is the
former chairwoman of the Wake County Republican Party and works as an administrator for the highly conservative John Locke Foundation. There's nothing like coming in straight from a big special interest group to give you a fair and unbiased representative - Not So Much!

Nice Plate

I am trying to get back into shape these days. So I started walking again on my breaks at work. Today I noticed this truck and it's license plate:
I'm not sure if I would have put 'Hanna's Hos' on my vehicle, but I guess I don't know this person or her daughters/friends/etc.
(I know it really says Hannah05, but it looks really close to Hanna's Hos - and that's funnier)

Gasless

Hurricane Ike caused more damage than just leveling many homes in Galveston. He also caused the southeast to be desperately low on gas since his arrival. Even the Costco near my office (which is ALWAYS crowded with lines for their cheap gas) has run out.
Not to fear, Gov. Easley has some gas trucks coming this weekend. So there won't be too much 'gas rage' at the pumps this weekend.....next week, we'll have to wait and see.
